Strategies for Buying, Selling and Trading Your Collectibles
At Anything Goez We Buy! We Sell! and We Trade! We have some basic tips for doing exactly that.
- When #collecting, take your time and be patient. It may take time to get a particular item. Remember, it is worth waiting for.
- Create a #network of like-minded people. Turn over every rock to find your sources for the things you love and want to connect. You never know when someone in your network will have just what you are looking for
- Purchase quality items. #Mint condition is more than just a label, it means that your collectible will most likely increase in value.
- We believe in finding #underpriced items. We believe if you are planning to sell an item, the profit is made at the point of purchase, not the point of sale. That being said, you can’t always get a bargain. However, be careful your emotions don’t run away with your ability to think rationally.
- Let everyone know what you are collecting. You never know when someone in their network has the very item you are looking for. Once you’ve made a connection, ask if they have anything else. You never know what others may have that will interest you.
- I’ve always prided myself on doing my homework. This applies to making purchases of collectibles as well. I research the items I am thinking about acquiring. I research the items I am thinking about selling. I research the items I am thinking about trading. It pays off!
