So, You Want To Be A #Collector!

If you are thinking about becoming a #collector here are a few tips.

1. Go slow to go fast.  There is no advantage to racing ahead with ignorant enthusiasm if you can slow down and get your bearings.
2. Become familiar with the different #manufacturers of the products you are collecting.  Learn about which products are considered premium, and which are less desirable.
3. Hunt for the items in places which may seem unusual.  This could include garage sales, swap meets, thrift stores and antique stores. 
4. Network with other collectors and let them know what you are collecting.  Build a #relationship with them.
5. Search online for your collectibles.  You may find a bonanza.
6. Finally, learn about how your collectible is “graded” and what each “grade” represents and how that “grade” affects the #price you should pay and the price you should sell for.  Remember, the profit you make on an item is determined at the time of purchase not the time of sale.
